George Bernal

After running away with the circus when he was 19 years old, George Bernal has embraced challenges, learned from his travels, and used his inspirations to create unique art.

Although George has had a colorful past including stints in retail and hospitality that took him all over the world, it was the summer of 2002 when he decided to take time off to surf that ultimately catapulted him into the world of custom made designs.  His part time job at a local sign shop was strategically placed across the street from the beach.  He spent  his nights and weekends teaching himself design programs and creating art and signage out of scrap materials. 

In 2005, George confidently opened Anatomical Designs and created signs, custom retail fixtures, and tradeshow booths for companies including Rip Curl, LRG, 686, Harvey's, Diesel,  Unif, Sizzler, Avenue of the Arts, Live Love Spa and many more...

George launched George Bernal Custom Made to explore his passions for creating custom design and fabrication.
